What this service does

Designed to convert. Engineered to compound.

Most websites are built once and forgotten. Ours are built to move the needle on day one — and keep moving it through an ongoing CRO program. Every component, every page, every interaction is mapped to a measurable conversion goal before a single pixel is drawn.

The handover is permanent. You own the code, the design system, and the documentation. We work alongside your team — never behind a closed door.

Built around your real ICP

We start with sales calls and customer interviews — not stakeholder opinions. Your buyers shape the brief.

What's included

What you actually get when you hire us.

Fixed scope. Fixed timeline. Fixed outcomes. Each phase below has a defined deliverable, a written sign-off, and a date you can put in a calendar.

Research that shapes the brief.

We don't start with wireframes. We start with sales call recordings, customer interviews, and a competitor teardown. The output is a written brief that your CMO, your dev team, and your sales team can all sign off on before we move a pixel.

Phase duration
2 weeks
Sign-off required
Before design starts
// deliverables
  • Sales call analysis
10–15 recorded calls reviewed with our research team.
  • Customer interviews
5 live interviews with your existing buyers and 3 lost-deal interviews.
  • Competitor teardown
Page-by-page comparison of 5 direct competitors.
  • Written research brief
20–30 pages: ICP, message map, page architecture, conversion goals.

Design as a conversion system.

Conversion-led design built on a custom design system that scales beyond launch. We design every primary template — home, product, pricing, contact, blog — plus the components your team will need to extend the site without our help.

Phase duration

Figma + tokens
// deliverables
  • Custom design system
Tokens, components, motion specs — fully documented in Figma.
  • Core page designs
Home, services, product, pricing, contact, blog — desktop + mobile.
  • Interactive prototypes
Click-through Figma prototypes for stakeholder review.
  • Conversion annotations
Every CTA, form, and primary interaction mapped to a metric.

Built on the stack that fits.

Webflow, WordPress, Shopify, Next.js — we recommend the stack based on your team's capability, not our preferences. Every build ships with Core Web Vitals green, accessibility tested to WCAG AA, and full handover documentation.

  • Production-ready build
Fully responsive across mobile, tablet, desktop, and large displays.
  • CMS implementation
Editor experience your marketing team can actually use.
  • Core Web Vitals: green
    Sub-2s LCP, CLS < 0.1, INP < 200ms — verified pre-launch.
  • Accessibility (WCAG AA)
Axe + manual keyboard testing as part of QA.

Migrate without losing rankings.

The most expensive part of a redesign is the SEO drop nobody warned you about. We map every legacy URL, set 1:1 redirects, preserve canonical signals, and watch Search Console daily for the first 30 days post-launch.

Monitoring
30 days post-launch
// deliverables
  • Full URL audit
Crawl + Search Console export of every indexed URL.
  • 1:1 redirect map
Server-level 301s for every legacy URL with measurable traffic.
  • Schema preservation
Structured data, Open Graph, and canonical tags carried over.
  • Post-launch monitoring
Daily Search Console review for 30 days. Issues triaged within 24h.

Optimization that compounds.

Launch is the start, not the end. The CRO retainer runs at least 90 days — typically longer — with weekly experiments, monthly reviews, and a live dashboard showing exactly what each test moved.

// deliverables

  • Weekly experiments
1–2 A/B or multivariate tests in flight at any time.

Conversion lift by test, page, and segment — updated hourly.
  • Monthly strategy review
Working session with your strategist. What moved, what's next.
Our process

How a website actually gets built around here.

Every engagement runs on the same four-stage process — auditable, time-boxed, and stage-gated. Designed to remove the surprises that kill agency relationships.

STAGE 01 — AUDIT

Find the leaks.

We audit your existing site against revenue — not vanity metrics. Heatmaps, session recordings, sales call analysis, and a written report on where the money is actually leaving.

Weeks 1–2
STAGE 02 — POSITION

Sharpen the offer.

Message, ICP, page architecture, and conversion goals defined in a written brief. Signed off by your team before any design begins.

Weeks 2–4
STAGE 03 — BUILD

Ship the site.

Design + development run in parallel after week 4. Weekly demos. Stage-gated approvals. No surprises at launch.

Weeks 4–12
STAGE 04 — SCALE

Compound the lift.

CRO retainer kicks off the day after launch. Weekly experiments. Monthly reviews. The site improves every quarter — or we tell you why.

Send us a question
How long does a typical website redesign take?

A standard engagement runs 10–14 weeks from kickoff to launch. Two weeks for research, four for design, six for development. Larger sites with custom integrations can run 16–18 weeks. We give you a fixed timeline and stage-gate approvals — no surprises.

Which CMS or platform will you use?

The one that fits your team — not our preferences. We build on Webflow, WordPress, Shopify, Sanity + Next.js, and fully custom stacks. The stack recommendation comes after the audit, based on your team's capability, scale needs, and editing workflow.

Do you handle the migration from our existing site?

Yes. Migration is included in every engagement. We map every indexed URL, set 1:1 redirects, preserve schema markup, and monitor Search Console for 30 days post-launch. SEO continuity is non-negotiable for us.

Will I own the work after launch?

Completely. Code, design system, documentation, vendor accounts, and the Figma file are all transferred to your team on day one. No agency lock-in. No proprietary platform holding your site hostage.

Do you offer ongoing support after launch?

Yes — through the CRO retainer. Most clients stay on for at least 90 days, running weekly experiments and monthly reviews. We can also run separate retainers for content, SEO, or paid media. Or we hand off cleanly if you have an in-house team.

What if my project doesn't fit your standard scope?

Most don't, exactly. The pricing on this page is a starting point — actual scope depends on the audit and the brief. Custom projects (headless commerce, multi-language, complex integrations) typically run $40K–$120K. We'll quote precisely after a 30-minute call.

We were looking for an experienced agency to optimize our PPC landing pages. After scoping the work, Redefine proposed a path that increased our conversion rate by over 140% within six months — and gave us a dashboard we actually use to run the business.
